What is in our candles & melts?
Our wax
At Rustic Comfort, we use a soy paraffin blend wax for our candles and 100% soy wax for our melts. Soy wax comes from the oil of soybeans. Paraffin wax is extracted from petroleum. We chose these waxes because it holds and gives off a strong fragrance to fill your entire home or office. Our candles are wood wicked and burn clean and evenly.
Our fragrance oils
Our candles and melts are made with only clean fragrance oils. What does that mean? All our oils are phthalates free. With proper ventilation and candle use, the risk associated with phthalates are low. However, they can be endocrine disruptors, and have been linked to an increased risk of breast cancer, fertility issues, and other health problems. We do not add any additional additives to our candles.
